This scenario is used in day 2 of the Astrogator training class to illustrate how custom MCS segments can be saved and then become a standard part of a user’s Astrogator environment.

 

The scenario has 8 different satellites, which represent 8 different launch vehicles, all launching from facilities near KSC in Florida.  This scenario demonstrates how different burnout states from different vehicles can be modeled using the Astrogator ‘Launch’ segment, even though that segment is a simplified approximation of a real launch vehicle trajectory.

 

Each of the separate launch satellites (which each represent a different launch vehicle trajectory) consist only of a simple, 2-segment MCS:
