Orbital Landing Direct Scenario [Last saved 2/3/2007.  Scenario originally created by Mike Loucks, Space Exploration Engineering Co.]

This scenario is from day 4 of the training class, and demonstrates a Lunar landing from Orbit.  We target Lunar orbit all the way from Launch at Earth, and then using a finite maneuver set at a constant thrust level (via the efficiency setting), the vehicle achieves a 4 ft/sec drop rate at 25 ft above the surface.  Further documentation for this scenario can be found in the day 4 Astrogator Training manual.  We cheat a bit, in that rather than targeting our orbit period and launch date to hit a specific landing site, we moved the landing site manually to lie under the orbit tracks of the orbit we selected.  This is meant to demonstrate the basic technique, however, and build off the Lunar Orbit scenario that we create earlier in the week.
