This scenario demonstrates the power of scripting using Astrogator.

A launch segment and 2 targeting segments are used to simulate orbit raising after a launch. Errors in the launch burnout conditions are introduced by an MS Excel macro, and the resulting cost of these errors can be measured in the subsequent maneuvers.

This script uses MS Excel and Microsoft Component Object Model(COM) automation calls using Astrogator object model scripting calls. The script sets control parameters within the MCS and retrieves the calculated results after the targeters converge. It then calculates the statistics and displays them in Excel.
